The energy we use in our homes accounts for 20% of all U.S. emissions, with 54% of that energy spent on heating and cooling—mostly using fossil fuels and, more often, very inefficiently. Although efficient all-electric heat pump systems have existed for years, they are considered unattractive, obtrusive, and difficult to use. Enter Quilt — a company founded to accelerate the energy transition by moving homes off fossil fuels with all-electric heating and cooling systems that are as beautiful as they are intuitive. Designed to seamlessly blend into any home, the Quilt system offers room-by-room control, advanced sensors to prevent energy waste in empty rooms, and personal energy data reports for more informed home climate management.
